Depth of Field

Aarhus Variation presents Depth of Field by acclaimed Dutch choreographer and the Artistic Director of the Australian dance company Chunky Move, Anouk van Dijk. This free urban performance of brilliance and surprise is a part of European Capital of Culture Aarhus 2017 and can be experienced on September 15th and 16th at Officierspladsen in Aarhus, Denmark. Using the tools of light as it changes from brightness, through dusk to strange darkness, Depth of Field takes the viewer on a sensory journey, activated by sight, sound and what is found in the streets and surrounds, combined with prepared choreography.

Depth of Field will engage the audience in an event that will alter the senses and change our expectations about what dance might be. A fully urban event, Depth of Field will involve local members of the public.
